Janitronics’ primary focus in sustainability is to reduce our emissions. Our main reduction pathways include switching to renewable energy, electrifying our vehicle fleet, and reducing local operational travel. In 2024, we implemented several initiatives to advance these goals.
Janitronics is exploring options that provide the potential for direct renewable energy procurement. In 2024, we maintained carbon neutrality for our fourth year in a row through the purchase of renewable energy credits and verified offsets.
In 2024, we transitioned 60 clients to our dropship offering, which cuts out the middle step of shipping supplies to our warehouse before getting them to our client sites. It streamlines our delivery systems and reduces mileage.
We consider sustainability within our operational decisions, such as using LED lighting. We also incorporated various sustainable attributes into our newly operational Life Science Training Center.
