GMP Assistant Account Manager
The Assistant Account Manager position plays a vital role in the success of Janitronics Building Services. This is a highly technical, operations-focused role that works directly with our hourly staff and client representatives.
This position’s primary focus is to manage the delivery of our evening GMP and janitorial cleaning program at the account. It is the lead managerial position during the 2nd shift operations and will work directly with the client, at all levels and departments, nightly.
The ideal candidate has experience leading a team in a GMP and cleanroom environment. They will participate as a contributing member of the client’s internal team (including meetings and presentations) and incorporating the safety and well-being of our staff into every aspect of the cleaning program.
This position reports to the Account Manager – Life Sciences Division.
Customer Service:
- Serves as the clients’ organizational representative.
- Ensure Janitronics Building Services fulfills all of our contractual obligations, commitments, and promises to the client.
- Identifies opportunities to help support client goals and initiatives.
- Identifies potential account challenges, communicates to the Janitronics Building Services team in order to find and implement solutions.
- Ensures client relationship and service delivery are meeting or exceeding expectations.
Operations:
- Direct the coordination and scheduling of all cleaning procedures.
- Responsible for the review of all GMP documents.
- Ensure the current version of GMP forms, reports, logs, and records SOP’s are followed and maintained.
- Oversee and direct a diverse team of supervisors, leads, and cleaners.
- Direct daily and weekly team meetings and manage all GMP requirements.
- Assist in overseeing new employee orientation including distribution of informational packets, reviewing company policies, site and room access, and registrations in all training and computer systems.
- Ensure that compliance with contract scope is achieved on a continuous basis.
- Actively participate in the site Quality Assurance and Life Science Audit Program.
- Ensures that life science facilities under his/her responsibilities are safe and comply with all federal, state and local laws.
- Coordinate and successfully oversee all GMP and non-GMP activities, including annual plant shutdown, routine and non-routine shutdowns, recovery cleanings, janitorial cleaning, special events, and any other duties as required.
- Assist in the management of site material and supplies, equipment, and Emergency Response Program.
- Lead and/or assist in Janitronics Building Services initiatives, such as training programs, Quality Assurance Program, Environmental Sustainability and Governance (ESG), and Client Communication Reporting.

Requirements:
- 3 – 5 plus years of industry experience or equivalent
- Career track record of successful performance
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Industry certifications preferred
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 8-hour shift
- Occasional off hours and weekends for project work and client and industry evening events.
