Janitronics Building Services Celebrates Black History Month
Janitronics Building Services is proud to be commemorating Black History Month, a significant period to contemplate the accomplishments and rich history of African Americans. As an organization committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone, we are excited about the continuous expansion of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team and initiatives.
In honor of this month, we will be celebrating with the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture and share their five weekly focus areas that celebrate the Black people who have used art as their platform for social justice.From style to food to music and more, cultural expressions reflect the history and creative spirit of the African American ancestry below.
The first week’s theme is Literature and Poetry. Explore a free online exhibit to see the broad concept of African American and African diaspora culture and five ways through which that culture is expressed.
