COVID-19 Update: 5.21.2020

Janitronics is prepared to support the re-opening of the Commonwealth. Governor Baker has announced the implementation of a Four Phase Plan (link here) to provide for a safe, cautious, and responsible approach to returning to business as usual.

On May 25th, lab and office spaces in Massachusetts will be allowed to re-open (however, Boston offices must wait until June 1st). The existing Stay at Home Advisory will shift to a Safer at Home Advisory to encourage people to continue to work from home if possible, and for at-risk populations (for instance, over 65 years of age) to continue to avoid public spaces like offices and retail businesses.

Key features of the new plan regard Mandatory Safety Standards for Workplaces (link here) which include aspects relevant to the office environments that we work to support on a regular basis:

  1. Maintaining 6-foot distance between workers and continuing to wear face masks
  2. Continuing to wash hands regularly, and regular sanitization of high-touch surfaces like elevator buttons and door handles
  3. Training workers on best practices and for those experiencing COVID-19 symptoms to remain at home
  4. Workplaces will establish and implement cleaning protocols specific to the business [this is what Janitronics has done for our clients]

Janitronics has specialized equipment, advanced training for our employees, and a methodical approach that can ensure the confidence and trust of our clients and their workers.
